Locomotives
"Azerbaijan Railways" CJSC is renewing its locomotive fleet with the purpose of improving and expanding its freight operations.
In 2024, 11 maneuvering diesel locomotives of the TEM2 series, 4 mainline diesel locomotives of the TE10M series, and 2 electric locomotives of the VL11 series were sent abroad for overhaul. Five of the TEM2 series locomotives have already been refurbished and returned to service.
